The District is aware that life offers challenges which are not always easy to manage. It is important not to wait until the challenge seems insurmountable. For this reason, the District invites its credential holders to benefit from the services of counsellors.

A counsellor is a confidant with whom we choose to share our personal, family and relational challenges. This therapy consists of professional help by counsellors recognized by the District of Quebec.

The service offered by these counsellors is first intended to help you manage challenges in your personal, family and relational spheres. Secondly, it guarantees a conversation with a recommended and experienced person, made in a climate of trust and without judgment, in a safe space.  The conversation will be strictly confidential.

The list of counsellors will appear on a private page of the District of Quebec site that is only accessible to the credential holders by a code. Credential holders will then be free to contact one of these counsellors for their services. In addition, please note that the District agrees to cover the cost of three out of the five sessions offered by this counselling service.

This assistance is available through a specialized ministry with our partners Éric and Rachel Dufour.

Support to couples is offered through an agreement consisting of five sessions or through intensive therapy. The intensive therapy is done over a week, from Monday to Friday, with Éric and Rachel.

We encourage all those who wish to receive this counselling service to take advantage of this therapy which the District will subsidize three of the five sessions, or, half the cost for the intensive therapy, as well as, the plane tickets.

We exist to provide support, vision and training to leaders in our churches

and to facilitate the proclamation of the Gospel.
