This training will take place at Manoir d’Youville, and will be offered over two days as follows:
Monday, March 13th 2023 from 9:00 a.m. (all day)
Tuesday, March 14th 2023 from 9:00 a.m. (departure after supper)
Our desire is that no worker lives the ministry alone. This program of coaching was created few years ago to develop coaches in church context. Coaching responds to various problematics, challenges or questions the we can encounter as a worker, but also to the need of being more efficient in ministry.
Two ways to register:
- Registration with accommodation (until February 27th 2023);
- Registration without accommodation (until March 3rd 2023).

John Caplin (Coach)
While the word “coaching” has become part of our vocabulary, we may underestimate what a great asset this approach can be in our ministry. In his seminars, experienced pastor and trainer John Caplin leads participants to discover how to help those around them to better serve and achieve their goals.
His highly practical and focused teaching will be of great value to any pastor or leader who wants to “equip believers” for better service.
Charles Porter (Coach)
Charles Porter has been in ministry since 1997. He has been an associate pastor, senior pastor, church planter, and with University ministries. He began formal coaching in 2016. Having grown up in Europe, Charles learned French as a child. For 13 years, he and his spouses worked in East Africa. He has a masters in Organizational Leadership and loves to serve pastors and leaders in discovering how the stories that make up our bigger God story. Charles has been married to Tahnya for 25 years, and together they have three children: Joshua, Alana and Riley.
